The image emerged on Easter. It depicts a Ukrainian landscape, with fresh spring grass and ploughed fields. There are two men napping in the ground and some household items hidden. As before, I am interested in the layering of meanings when archaic symbols are seen in contemporary reality. They are the apostles and the twins and Calvary and just two ploughmen who are about to wake up and start their summer work.
