Born on August 18th, 1985, in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine. She got her primary art education in Kharkiv lyceum. In 2002 Polina enrolled at Kharkiv Art Academy of design at the faculty of easel painting. She studied there under the guidance of V. Kovtun and Y. Vintayev. Ever since Polina has participated in many regional, national and international exhibitions. Her works are among those belonging to private collections in Ukraine, the USA, Estonia, China and the Philippines.
According to Polina, "I draw much pleasure from teaching students of different age at my workshop. At times students of academic institutions take my lessons. I take pride in some of the results I've managed to achieve. I think it is vital to help students, to narrow down the topics they are most interested in, to help them find technique for their self-expression. I am now finding myself at the cusp of new changes. My works contain more colors, they've come lighter. For the past year I've been deeply absorbed in analytical psychology. To my mind, I've managed to comprehend the influence that visual arts exert both on my life and on lives of other people. I would like to start addressing symbols common to all mankind in a more profound manner. I want to address eternal topics, perhaps mythology as well, but in terms of modernity and modern tools for expression.
