Varshavska Anna was born in 1997 in Odessa, Ukraine. Growing up in an artist family, she became interested in drawing from a very young age. When it comes to her education, she graduated from the Grekov Odessa Art College. Later on, she enrolled at the Lviv National Academy of Arts to pursue her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Monumental Painting. For four years, Anna has been working exclusively in graphic art. All her works are carried out with the use of a standard black ball point pen. She achieves the right variation of tonality, transparency, contrast, and shading saturation in her works by combining different levels of pressure on the pen. As a canvas, the artist usually uses wood, covered with levkas. Similar kinds of the canvas are commonly used in iconography. The artist has had several exhibitions in Odessa and Lviv. She has also been involved in collaborative projects in Ukraine and abroad. Speaking of Anna's awards and achievements, she prefers not to discuss them. She does not consider this to be a measure of the quality and value of art. It is worth mentioning that she has won numerous awards and prizes, but the artist is not interested in fame. Her works are an emotional and personal diary. Each of her works is a unique dialogue with the spectator about feelings. Almost all the works painted in the last four years already belong to private collections. In the near future, Anna is preparing several new personal projects.
