Work from the golden series of "recessions". The entire series of works was made under the impression of medieval art with the rethinking of medieval techniques and textures into modern compositions. Like all works from the series, this is a conditional image of a girl. The girl's head is made using the technique of glazing painting in two layers. In addition to oil painting, gold works were used in the work with the use of 23 carat gold leaf in two ways of gilding. The gold shawl used the technique of gilding with oil glue with further glazing. This decision can be observed in the works of medieval masters, masters of the Northern Renaissance such as Dürer, Holbein and in baroque icons. Golden flowers are made using the technique of gilding on the resin of beer wort, known since the times of Byzantium and inflicted mostly in icon painting. The work is done on canvas of the author's production using traditional materials for painting. Author's signature in the lower left corner.
