I started drawing this picture in 2015, and at that time it was a reflection on the political events in Ukraine in 2014, such as the "Revolution of Dignity", the annexation of Crimea and the war in the east, unleashed by the Russian Federation. The child who clung to the hands holding her with a weapon is a simple metaphor for changes in the social state, where peaceful life was replaced by the difficult times of war.
