Oleksii Shcherbak
Shcherbak Oleksii was born in 1997 in Chernigov, Ukraine. He was addicted to drawing since early childhood, inspired by cartoons,games and comics. In 2012, he entered Taras Shevchenko State Art School in Kyiv. In 2015, he joined the NAFAA (National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture), Faculty of Easel Painting (2015-2017), and later – Faculty of Free Graphics (2017-2019).
The artist worked as a sketcher of comics for the Fireclaw affiliate. He developed illustrations for Will comics.
He also created many illustrations for the atmospheric tabletop role-playing game titled "Arheterika Imago." He created board games for 5 years.From 2019 up till present, he primarily creates illustrations for book publishers. He also works with customers from Lithuania, United States, Netherlands, and other countries. Recently, he repeated the series of artworks for a new project.

The position of Senior concept artist in the British studio Vertpaint.
In his works, the artist often combines painting with graphic elements reminiscent of comics and adds illustrative elements. His works often depict the times of the XIX century. They also often feature dark fantasy Victorian style. In fact, he prefers to embody his inner feelings through dream characters, which are sometimes surrealistic.
•4 months after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the artist came to Paris where he entered the l'école des Beaux-Arts.
•I create the world full of enigmatic personages
In my paintings I mostly depict images of fictional mystical characters.
I try to convey the subtlest nuances of the inner world of humans . I am interested in the emotions and processes which are difficult to explain that take place within a human . I touch on exciting issues of life. I have always been interested in the relationship between the human and the world, between other people, issues of influence and their interaction.
Inspired by Renaissance painting and many contemporary artists such as Odd Nerdrum, James Jean, Nicola Samory, Kim Jung Gi and others.
